To Mom, With Love | Mother’s Day Gift Guide

I love gift giving, almost more than receiving gifts! There is something so wonderful about picking out the perfect, thoughtful gift for that special someone. In this case, that special someone is mom!

Mother’s Day is less than two weeks away, and it’s time to start shopping! Mothers can be hard to shop for. What do you get the woman that gave you life?! And if you’re anything like me, you always want to give your mom the world, but your budget just doesn’t allow it. But that’s okay! No matter how much you spend on your Mother’s Day gift, your mom will be super appreciative because it’s the thought that counts. Also, moms are the most selfless people on the planet; they aren’t expecting much so they will love what you get them no matter what!

Here are some Mother’s Day gift options for your mom, step-mom, mother-in-law, sister, or friend that’s expecting. There’s something for every mom on this list, and every budget!

Purse Organizer | Most moms carry everything under the sun in their purses so this purse organizer will help keep all of their goodies organized within their bag. This is great for everyday life, and it helps make traveling easier, too! It also saves time. If you want to swamp out purses, all you have to do is take out the organizer and drop it into another bag. There are tons of pockets and compartments for your phone, pens, makeup, wallet, etc.

Makeup Organizer | Whether your mom is a full glam girl or does a five-minute makeup routine, every mom needs some organization to help her out. I don’t know what I would do without my makeup organizer! This is a super affordable and durable gift.

Mama Necklace | This necklace is the perfect gift for a new mom or an expecting mother. It is so delicate and beautiful and comes in gold and silver. This will definitely be on my wish list when I have a baby!

Silk Sleep Mask | A silk sleep mask is another good gift for new moms. When having a baby, your sleep schedule goes out the window, and you have to squeeze in sleep at any chance you get. This sleep mask will help moms shut their eyes, and keep all of the light out when they can fit a nap in. The silk is really gentle on your eyes and eyelashes, plus you’ll never wake up with wrinkles.

Earrings | You can never go wrong with jewelry! These studs are simple, but are the farthest thing from ordinary. The white is great for every day, or the pink is great when you need a little something extra. I also love these for special occasions. Both pairs will be great for summer fashion!

Robe | Cue Lizzie McGuire because this Barefoot Dreams robe is what dreams are made of! It’s so, so, so cozy! It also come in nine colors so you can make the perfect selection for your sweet mama!

Slippers | Slippers are always a hit no matter what! I live in slippers when I’m home. Whether you’re gifting a stay-at-home mom, your grandma or a mama who just likes to relax, you can’t go wrong with slippers. I love how bright and colorful this pair is. I’m all for adding pops of color when you can. And these are a great staple pair of slippers. I ALWAYS go up a size in slippers to make sure I have enough room in them and to make them extra cozy.

Face Mask | Who doesn’t love a good face mask?! Help your mom create an at-home spa with a great face mask. The GlamGlow GravityMud Firming Mask is one of my favorites! It helps tighten and tone the skin, while also getting to look like the Tin Man! Another great option is this Peter Thomas Roth mask set that will allow her to try out six of their different best-selling masks.

Fitbit | If your mom is more on the active side or is trying to reach her fitness goals, a Fitbit is the perfect gift for her! There are so many styles to customize them to fit every type of mom. Fitbit is also having a Mother’s Day sale where you can get up to $30 off of your purchase until May 11. Take advantage of this great offer!

Candle | Candles are a great little gift for your boyfriend’s mom or mother-in-law. It’s a little something that shows that you thought of them on this special day! LAFCO candles are amazing candles, but they can be on the pricier side. If you’re looking for something more affordable, Bath & Body Works are my go-to!

Framed Picture | You can never go wrong with gifting a framed picture! If you’re gifting this for your mom, frame a picture of you and her together. If this is for your sister or friend, frame a picture of her and her kids. This is such a thoughtful and personal gift that they will be sure to cherish. I typically buy my picture frames from Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or Target, then print out the picture, and BAM, you’re done! This is a quick, easy, and affordable gift! This Kendra Scott picture frame is a little more pricey than your average picture frame, but it’s worth it! It’s so stunning! I have it in silver.

Spa Day | Moms carry a lot of stress. It’s inevitable. They are responsible for so many things and people! Help her relax with a trip to the spa! You can purchase individual services, or if you want to give her the royal treatment, book her a full spa day! You can even book services for the two of you to enjoy together for a little mother-daughter bonding! My favorite spa is Earthsavers, a local New Orleans spa with three locations. I’ve also been to the Woodhouse Day Spa, which has locations in over 20 states.
